The year 12 Humanities excursion got underway this morning with students meeting their teachers, Sharon Punter and Dan Ashton, at the airport at 6.30 am.
The plane was delayed leaving Maroochydore but Qantas was holding the connecting flight to Canberra so they could still make it . Temperature on arrival is expected to be 10 degrees.
Today’s activity is the War Memorial and later a visit to the office of our first female indigenous representative, Linda Burney, in Parliament house .
