Student Reception & WHS Assistant

Fixed Term, 32 hours per week over 4 days, school term weeks - plus additional hours/weeks as negotiaged. Commencing August 2017 till the end of 2017 with a review for a continuing position. School Officer Level 3.  Contact person is Kim Harrison, Business Manager.

  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
St John's College is seeking a dedicated and highly proficient Administration Officer to join our friendly team here at the College. This role takes care of our student counter and assist the Business Manager with work place health and safety. 
The successful applicant will report directly to the Business Manager and will be responsible for: • Student Reception • Main switch board • Student Absentees (eMinerva) • Assistance with Role Marking and student activity organisation • Assisting the Business Manager with WH&S (up to 1 day per week) • General office duties including but not limited to, photocopying, franking of mail, receipting and Eftpos • Attention to detail • Excellent computer skills (knowledge of eMinerva an advantage) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Be a team player • Ability to prioritise and multi task • Be well presented and professional at all times • Have experience in an office environment • Have a positive attitude and mature outlook.
